Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information RetaRadar ("we") processes when you use retaradar.co.za. We follow South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

• Nothing through the site itself. The site has no accounts, forms, comments or newsletter. It sets no cookies and uses no advertising or tracking scripts.
• Technical data handled by our host. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Emails you send us. If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, name (if given) and your message.

Why we use it

• Technical data: to run and secure the site.
• Emails: to reply to you and, for sellers, to re-check evidence you send.

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep emails for as long as needed to deal with your message and any follow-up re-check, and for at most two years after that.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct it or delete it, and you may object to its processing. Write to [email protected]. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).

Changes

If we change this policy, for example by adding analytics, we will update this page and the date below.
